I know that everybody loves infographics, but what if an illustrator came up with the most delicious and refreshing of all infographics? Then we would have one of the coolest pieces of work around, and that's just what Fabio Rex did.

Fabio Rex is an illustration from our home town, Porto Alegre. He experiments a lot in various style, but one gotta love his infographic style. Although most of these are in portuguese, the idea here is to present something that guess everybody will understand and appreciate. For more of his work, you may visit his portfolio. Photorealistic and Highly Detailed Artworks by Iain Macarthur

Since I started drawing when I was a kid, I always enjoyed more the shapes than the colors. Maybe that's why one of my favorite illustrators is Iain Macarthur. His works are most black ink and white canvas, many details and a lot of hard work.

Nowadays Iain lives in Swindon, England and work as illustrator, workingwith clients like Nike, MTV and a lot of apparel labels.

"Iain Macarthur was born in 1986 in england swindon.iv became a fanatic of art at the age of eight inwhich i was introduced in art through watching alot of cartoon shows and comic books. first ever comic i looked at was the batman series. since then iv been obsessed with drawing odd fantasy drawings and anime characters.
when i got older i diverted from anime drawings to realistic figures and faces, always striving to make them more detailed and photorealistic, i always do one or two drawings ever since,i also carry a sketch book around all the time on my travels drawing on the bus or in a coffee shop, i enjoy doing it and helps me improve drawing people more better, which shows how motivated and inspired i am in art." "My work is described as surreal and unique in its own way.Using mostly pencil,watercolours and pigment pens i create portraits of ordinally people but create them in a unusual way by embelishing patterns and watercolour effects into the portrait to give a vivid explosion effect. making there faces from somthing plain to somthing entirly bizzare and wonderful at the same time." Beautiful Houses: Chicken Point Cabin in Idaho

This week we present you the beautiful Chicken Point Cabin.

The Chicken Point Cabin is a project by Olson Kundig Architects, a firm that counts with over 75 employees and works with projects from museums to commercial design, residential designs and interior. The idea behind the Chicken Point Cabin was to create a little box with a big window that opens and integrates with its surroundings, taken advantage of the landscape. The cabin's big window-wall (30 feet by 20 feet) opens the entire living space to the forest and lake. Materials are low maintenance—concrete block, steel, concrete floors and plywood—in keeping with the notion of a cabin, and left unfinished to naturally age and acquire a patina that fits in with the natural setting.

This place is really cool! It is simple, contemporary and really beautiful. The enormous window, concrete/wood/glass combination and wide spaces created a cozy and functional house. If I would live in a house like this? Certainly. ;)
