News: Update On Australian Data Center Migration  | We're excited to announce that as of Monday 21st Feb, 2011 AEDT, we have successfully completed the migration of all sites hosted on the legacy Sydney (Asia Pacific) data center to our new Sydney (Australia) data center. We experienced some load issues the day following the migration but these have now been addressed and we are seeing good performance. | Overview of changes: - Sites previously hosted on Asia Pacific (legacy Sydney) DC are now hosted on the new Sydney DC
- All Sydney sites with internal DNS are now delivered from the new data center and are loading fast
- Legacy Sydney sites with external DNS are delivered through the reverse proxy solution and working fine, performance is stable
- FTP service does not work for sites with external DNS previously hosted on Asia Pacific (legacy Sydney) DC; you will need to update your DNS settings as outlined below to fix this
- Sites hosted on other data centers are fully operational, all services are working
Important reminder: 60 days left to update DNS settings All BC sites must have their DNS settings updated in the next 60 days, regardless of the data center they are hosted on: Updating your internal DNS settings involves the redelegation of the sites domain name from the legacy (.businesscatalyst.com) name servers to the new (.worldsecuresystems.com) name servers. Following the cut-off date, we will be decommissioning our legacy name servers. If a site's DNS settings have not been updated, this will result in downtime until they are updated. If you experience any issues updating your DNS settings, please submit a support request or reach the Support team via live chat. |
